Welcome to the Bunny Hop!!!

Hi everyone!!!

We're so excited you are joining us again for our Bo Bunny Hop!! Hopefully we've worked out a few kinks we encountered last time! Thanks for playing along and all the amazing comments you left for me as well!

I'm very excited about our new Guest Designer too! I know you'll love her...she's one talented gal!! But you'll have to keep hopping to find out who it is!

The talk today is around our new line..Abbey Road! I'll admit..when I first saw it..I had that moment of lots of blinking and feeling slightly woozy and lightheaded. The colors...me me me me me. Yep...all me! All mine! (to quote a movie we love with The Rock) It's all mine!

Yep..Bo Bunny scored massively with this stunning line filled with my favorite shades of green, aqua, cream and charcoal. YUM! And believe it or not..I haven't even gotten to create anything with it yet...but boy do I have some ideas!!

Of course when you say Abbey Road for many of us it brings to mind...The Beatles and all their amazing songs. Well it does for me!LOL And with songs...come memories of some of my absolutely favorite songs....

Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra! Kind of an unusual choice for someone my age. I am under 40..although sadly not for long. But I still remember the day Scott and I watched "Once Around" with Holly Hunter and Richard Dreyfus. And I still remember hearing the song, listening to the lyrics...singing it out loud. And I knew...we knew..that was our song..and was our song at our wedding too. I think we suprised quite a few people with that choice as we were just 22 and 23 when we got married. Definitely not what my friends were chosing. But we love the song...love the music....everytime we hear it we turn a bit mushy!

Our other song...In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel. Love it...love it.

My other song not related to memories with my cute hubby...Bananarama's...Cruel Summer.
Oh that's a high school thing..my best friend Jenny....summer....trip to Florida. Just one of those that you crank up Every Single Time you hear it! I like those kind!

Most 80's Pop songs are like that to me...I can't help it! I heard Howard Jones the other day, Crowded House and the Thompson Twins..that's another story...me getting to meet them..3rd row concert seats..signed record..and I won $1,000!

So enough about me! What's your favorite song or the song that means the most or has the most memories tied to it for you? I'd love to know!

Leave me a comment before you hop and one lucky hopper will win one of my new Easter pendants and an 18 inch teeny ball chain! I'll let you chose which Easter one you like! This one though is awfully cute! You can see all of them in my Etsy store. I'll announce a winner on Monday by Noon CST. So you must comment before then.

Keep on hopping to find out who is out first Guest Designer and a chance to win some of our amazing Abbey Road collection. so ......let's hop next to...........

  15. Your pendants ROCK! They are on my birthday wish list. Music that always brings memories is a couple songs from Nickelback. One of my highschool friends died in Iraq 2 years ago when one of their cd's just came out and it was on the radio a lot. I can't help but connect the two when I hear the songs.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Your pendant is gorgeous!!

I love Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wings...it was DH and my wedding song. It always reminds me that we can count on each other through good times and bad.

    ReplyDelete

  20. oh my goodness... I can't even begin to choose a favorite song! That's a tough one! I have WAY too many. So, I'll be corny and pick one I bet no one else would...The National Anthem. Brings me to tears every time I hear/sing it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hubs and I chose Bryan Adams' Everything I Do for our first dance at our wedding so I'd have to go with that. But since I was a kid, I've loved The Monster Mash! It doesn't even need to be Halloween.

  25. It's pretty much impossible to narrow it down to just one song, but one of my all-time favorites is "The Way Young Lovers Do" by Van Morrison. His whole Astral Weeks album just is amazing, but this song moves me to tears, it's so beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Everytime I hear Sinead O'Connors "Nothing Compares to You" I am instantly back in my mind to my high school boyfriend. And Dire Straits takes me back to him. High school and the few years of him involved a lot of listening to music, it really built my music library and still leads my music preferences today.

Well, the song that means the most to me (or at least one of the songs that means the most to me) is "I believe in a thing called love" by The Darkness. I know it is a corny song, but it actually was my husband and I's wedding song. hehe

    ReplyDelete
  33. "Wind Beneath My Wings" It was our wedding song. Everytime I hear it, it takes me back to us standing in front of the church, flanked by bridesmaids in TEAL and big hair and groomsmen with mullets. Ah the 80's.

Now I am with my daughter and her blooming family to welcome #4! I have been singing the song to them all week. It is called "I Kiss my Doodlebug" and because they love it and now they sing it with me I love it best. Nothing on this earth is better than standing in the hall listening to my 1st grandson sing that song to his little baby brother. It is indelibly printed in my heart!

  58. When I'm in a secular mood I like to listen to songs from the 50's-60's.Doo-wop too.
Right now I'm mainly listening to southern gospel.Quartets and different family groups. My son's name is Noah and there is a song by The Cathedrals called "Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the Lord" that is probably my all time favorite. When my kids were still at home we'd sing it together in the car. It was hard because we each had lines to sing by ourselves and invariably we'd sing when we weren't supposed to. We would laugh so hard together... A scrapbook page was just born. Thanks, ms.cheryl
